CDA View, Download, and Transmit

The Chartlogic EHR allows you to view, download and transmit a continuity of care document or a referral note through our encrypted and secure messaging feature.

When you receive a transition of care document you have the option to view the information or download it.

When you click view it will pull up a patient chart summary page where you can configure how you view the document. You can drag and drop the sections on the left hand side or within the document to reorder the information.

You can also configure the default view by clicking on the configure icon then add, remove or reorder sections in the document.

When you click download on the message it will download the XML file.

To send a continuity of care or a referral note, open up the messaging feature and click new message. Then click on the search drop-down box and select Direct Provider.

Type in the providers direct messaging email and hit enter. This will bring up the option to select the C-CDA document type you want to send. From here you can select the patient who’s information you want to send and fill out the rest of the message then click send.
