We have added the ability to add images to the letterhead configuration.
Most of our customers use a customized letterhead when sending documents and printing. These letterheads usually include a customer logo and in many cases the logo is the entire letterhead. For this reason, we wanted to add the images to the letterhead configuration so they can be included.
To add an image to the letterhead you will need to navigate to the letterhead configurations area. Click on Configuration on the left dashboard menu, Select Letterhead.
Then add a new letterhead or select an existing one.
To add an image, click on the insert image icon in the tool bar.
This will open a dialog window to find your image.
The General tab will allow you to link an image that has a webpage. This is used if you are hosting an image on the internet. If the image is not saved on the internet, then use the Upload tab.
Click on the browse for image button, locate your image and click open.
This will take you back to the dialog where you can enter an image title and description and set the size.
It will default to the actual size of the image. You can adjust the image size by changing one of the numbers. It will remain proportionate. The Description and Title fields are not required.
Click Save and the image will be brought into the letterhead.
You can then save the letterhead if you are done or if you wish to add text next to the image follow the next steps.
To add text next to the image, click on the image so it shows a border around it.
Click on Formats in the tool bar (It shows Paragraph). Select Image Left or right depending on the side you want text on. For this we will use the image left selection.
After you select the side hit the arrow key to the right to bring the cursor to the right of the image.
Type your address or other text. To prevent a page break and keep the lines close together hit Shift+Enter to go to a new line.
To center or right align the text or image use the align buttons.
Click the save button to finish.
Note: This image control also works within the patient notes. This allows you to add notes next to the image within the note.
