The Note Type system will allow you to streamline your exam process by creating templates you can use every day. To get to the configuration interface, click the Configuration block in the side panel and then Notes in the menu.
To edit the Note Type, simply click the Edit Types link in the lower left corner of the Note Types card.
This will expand the card into a fully configurable view. From here the first step is naming note type which is as easy as typing the information into the text box. Once you’ve done that, click the Add button and you’ll be taken to the configuration screen for your new note type.
The next step is adding cards to your Note Type’s template. This is accomplished by clicking the Add icon in the upper right corner of the module.
The next step is selecting what card you want to add from the Card drop-down menu. Once you select a card, you’ll be shown a couple of extra fields you can customize about that card before you add it to the note template.
This could be a different Caption for the card, automatically filled out WYSIWYG information, or fields shown in the card. Once you’ve entered the information you need, simply click the Add button and your card will be added to the note type. Once you’ve added all the cards you need to add, the next step is clicking the Exit button in the upper right corner of the module. This will return you to the note type creation screen where you can click the Save button to save your work.
If you need to edit an already created type, you’ll need to select the type from the list on the right and click the Template button to enter the configuration screen. From there you’ll follow the same protocol as you did when you created the note type.
