The ChartLogic EHR Charge Slip system is extremely versatile but configuring it is easy. To get to the configuration interface, click the Configuration block in the side panel and then Billing in the menu.
That will take you to the summary view of the Charge Slip configuration. To make any changes, you’ll need to click Edit Slips in the lower right section of the Charge Slips card.
This will expand the card into a fully configurable view. From here the first step is naming and coding your charge slip which is as easy as typing the information into the text boxes.
Once you’ve done that, click the Add button and you’ll be taken to the configuration screen for your new charge slip.
The next step is adding procedure codes to your slip. To do this, simply search for what you want in the left column, select the ones you want to add, and click the Add button underneath.
Tip: You can select multiple by clicking on one and then clicking on another with the shift key held down. Once you’ve added some to the Added Codes section in the right column there are a couple more things you can do.
If you select a code, you can remove that code by clicking the Remove icon, you can view a description of that procedure by clicking the Description icon, or you can move the description up and down in the pick list by clicking the Up and Down icons. Adding Diagnoses is the exact same process. Once you’ve configured the codes you need to, simply click the Exit icon in the top right of the module. This will return you to the charge slip creation screen where you can click the Save button to save your work.
If you need to edit an already created slip, you’ll need to select the slip from the list on the right and click the Codes button to enter the configuration screen. From there you’ll follow the same protocol as you did when you created the charge slip.
