Update Summary

Tuesday, April 25, 2023, we will be pushing out a new ChartLogic EHR update. The updates will start at 10PM MT and are expected to be completed by 2AM MT on Wednesday, April 26. During the scheduled update window, you may experience anything from slow response, limited access, or no connectivity; or you may experience no interruption whatsoever.

This version includes many new features patient engagement, communication, forms and the patient’s chart, along with many usability improvements and bug fixes.

Enhancements 🚀

• Orders Card Updates: Added the results to the main orders detail screen making it easier to view the orders and any results returned. Help Article →
• Flowsheets: Added the ability to track and trend elements from the vitals card in a graph format. Help Article →
• New Chart/Note Tab Order: Made improvements to the tab workflow within the chart and note. You can now also hit enter in parts of the notes to prevent having to tab or use the mouse. Help Article →
• Message Function: Improved the messaging workflow from the main messaging function and added new functions to the patient chart. Help Article →
• Patient Portal Messaging: Made updates to the patient portal messaging system to better the workflow for the patient when communicating with the practice as well as sending direct communication with outside providers. Help Article →
• Send a CCDA to the Patient Portal: Added the ability to send a CCDA to the patient portal. Patients can view, download, and transmit a CCD from the portal but have not been able to receive a CCDA at a visit level. Help Article →
• CCDA Reconciliation Enhancements: Improved the CCD reconciliation process with workflow and including import errors prior to reconciliation. Help Article →
• Patient Demographics: Patient Demographics data is now in one place with additional information. ChartLogic has created one access point for all the patient demographic data including organizing the data in a better workflow. Help Article →
• Image in letterhead: Added the ability to add images to the letterhead configuration. Help Article →
• Notifications: A new patient communication system that includes appointment reminders and notifications for events has been built. These messages have default templates that can be changed to fit the customer’s needs. We also improved the schedule configuration, offering more control and additional reminders. This also includes new notification types and macros in messages to auto populate information. Help Article →
• Confirmations: Patients can now confirm or cancel an appointment directly from their notifications and reminders. They can also confirm or cancel from their patient portal. Help Article →
• Opt-Out Communications: Along with the ability to confirm and cancel we have also added the ability to opt out of communications. Help Article →
• Forms – Form Builder: The form builder was refactored into a service that improves speed in the system and allows for more expansion. We have added components that make creating forms easy and new options for these components. We have also added a set of default forms that are common for most practices so you can quickly get up and running with the default forms or alter those to meet your needs more quickly. • Forms – Form Management: We have moved the location of Patient Forms to a more visible location of their chart and created a form management dashboard card. Reconciling patient information is easier and more obvious. Help Article →
• Forms – Patient View: Patients can open and complete forms in the Patient Portal. The patient forms user interface has been updated to be easier to use and self-guided. Help Article →

• Fixed no known allergies sent to Rcopia
• Fixed no messages card in the chart
• Fixed signed note does not print with signatures
• Fixed multiple communication going for appointments reminders
• Fixed the ability to add images to letterhead
