Update Summary

Thursday, August 17, 2023, we will be pushing out a new ChartLogic EHR update. The updates will start at 10PM MT and are expected to be completed by 2AM MT on Friday, August 18. During the scheduled update window, you may experience anything from slow response, limited access, or no connectivity; or you may experience no interruption whatsoever.

This version includes many new features: referrals, improved internal and patient communication, forms and note configurations, along with usability improvements and bug fixes.

• Referrals Card: We have added a new Referrals card to the patient chart. The referrals card can be used to track different referral types involved in the care of the patient. Help Article →
• Charge Code Management: Users now have the ability to manage data elements related to charge codes by accessing the Configuration Menu>Transaction Codes. Help Article →
• Diagnosis Code Management: Users now have the ability to manage data elements related to diagnosis codes by accessing the Configuration Menu>Transaction Codes. Help Article →
• Charge Slips: Several enhancements to the creation and usability of charge slips have been added to provide a more optimal workflow experience. Help Article →
• Printing of Notes: This release provides improvements to the printed version of patient notes. Users will now see additional details related to Immunizations, Implantable Devices, Orders, Medications and Medication Allergies. Help Article →
• Insurance Carrier Configuration: We have added configuration options for Insurance Carriers. Under Configurations>Carriers, users can now create Insurance carrier categories by assigning a Code and Name, optionally, a Description field is also available. Help Article →
• Patient Communications: We have made improvements to Patient Communications to allow for a more optimal workflow experience. Help Article →
• Patient Forms: Patient forms can now be accessed directly from email notifications sent to the patient if configured. Patients will receive an email with a hyperlink to complete the forms. Help Article →
• Attaching Forms to the Appointment: Functionality of attaching available patient forms to the appointment at the time of scheduling has been restored. Help Article →
