Release Notes | Version 1.9

Update Summary

Thursday, March 31, 2022, we will be pushing out a new ChartLogic EHR update. The updates will start at 10PM MT and are expected to be completed by 2AM MT on Friday, April 1. During the scheduled update window, you may experience anything from slow response, limited access, or no connectivity; or you may experience no interruption whatsoever.

This version includes a completely rebuilt Notes module with many new exciting features, along with several usability improvements and bug fixes.

Patient Chart

• Chart real-time data. This release includes improvements to the method of how data is being stored. Data is stored in one location to allow better transparency, enable real time data in the chart, and improve accuracy. Help Article →
• Added details on the Patient Note card. Within the patient note card on the patient chart, we have added more meaningful information about the patient notes. Help Article →

Notes

• Improvements to Note creation. We have included the ability to select a note Date of Service, link to an unconfirmed appointment, a reason for the visit, appointment information, and a new additional note field. Help Article →
• New fields on all cards. We have added a new note free text field to all cards in the chart and the note. Help Article →
• New filters and searches for all cards. New functionality for filtering, sorting, and searching has been added to all the note and chart cards. Help Article →
• New Copy Exam process. We have improved the copy last exam to have the ability to copy any completed note. Help Article →
• New Auto Save feature. This release includes auto save while creating a note. Help Article →
• New Spell Check feature. This release will include spell check within the free text type cards helping assist the user with note entries. Help Article →
• Review of Systems update. We have added the ability to mark all review system types as normal with one click. Help Article →
• New Quick Picks. Users can now have a list of frequently used codified data available while creating a note. Help Article →
• New Histories and Objectives card. We have combined the following cards into one for better workflow into the Histories and Objective Card. Family History, Goals, Health Concerns, Medical Histories, Mental Status, and Social Histories. Help Article →
• New codified data colors. We have added color coding to help guide the users to which data points, like the codified data, that can be updated within the current note also indicating which real time data elements have been committed to the chart. Help Article →
• Updated SNOMED searches. New SNOMED searches have been created a short search and a long search. Help Article →
• New Known History feature. A new way to enter No Known data on the Allergies, Immunizations, and Medications cards. When No Known has been selected the appropriate wording will be included in the CDA. Help Article →
