Diagnosis Code Management

Users now have the ability to manage data elements related to diagnosis codes by accessing the Configuration Menu>Transaction Codes.

The following new fields have been added to allow additional information related to each diagnosis code:

Code – allows the entry of a code of up to 8 characters in length.

• In addition, codes from the catalog will appear based on characters typed. Users can select a pre-existing code to modify the parameters.

Name – allows an entry of a name of up to 100 characters.

• If code is selected from the category, the name will automatically populate, and edits will not be allowed.

Description – allows an entry of a description containing up to 150 characters.

Statement Description– allows for entry of a description of up to 150 characters to be displayed on patient statements.
