Dragon Voice Speech Kit

What:

Dragon speech kit has been incorporated in the CL10 Notes free text cards.

Why:

We have added this integration to the note to allow clinical staff to dictation to complete the notes quickly and easily.

How to use dictation:

Configuration: Will need to be completed by support

Using Dictation within the note cards:

For users that have been licensed and set up in the application the mic icon will appear in the note.

To begin using voice click the mic icon.

The mic with turn light blue indicating voice is active and ready to use in the note.

The speech kit standard mic will appear as green and active for voice capture.

To mute the dragon mic and pause dictation click the green mic which will change it to red.

Use can use commands such as “go to assessment” to navigate to other free text cards.

To see a complete list of voice commands, click on the options menu on the mic bar options are available under “what you can say”.  Other customizations are also available here.

FAQ’s

• Users can navigate to free text cards with the “go to (card name)”
• Users can save and exit the note with “save and exit note” command
• The standard speech kit functions are available like “select all” and “scratch that”
• Dictation is deactivated when leaving the note.
• When switching users, the context of dragon will remain under the physician who has the dragon license.  The tool tip helps identify the dragon user logged in.
