We have made three updates relating to MIPS with this update. We’ve added an SSO Login link, added a prescription measure and added the ability to export reporting data for MIPS.
These came from internal and external feedback. Providers wanted to be able to quickly access the MIPS dashboards when they participate in MIPS processing. The SSO link will allow the provider to access the Healthmonix dashboard straight from the Chartlogic dashboard. This eliminates the need to open another webpage and login. The MIPS export allows us to provide the system data for MIPS reporting measures like our other products. Previously we did not have a way to provide the e-prescribe data because it came from a third party. We now have access to that information and can now display it within our product.
To use the new e-prescribing measure is very simple. You will need to open the tools menu then select the Automated measures option. This will open then Automated Measures reporting.
Click on the New Report button on the top right to create a new report. To add the new measure, fill out the criteria you wish to include and under the available measures list click the plus next to the E-Prescribing measure to include it in the report.
Once you have all the measures you want to include hit the add button which will run the report and display your results.
The E-Prescribing measure tracks a numerator and denominator. The numerator contains prescription’s generated, queried for a formulary, and transmitted electronically. The denominator contains prescriptions other than controlled substances generated; or prescriptions generated.
To use the SSO Login for Healthmonix you must first be signed up for MIPS reporting and have a Healthmonix account. This also will need to be configured by implementation before the link will be present for the user. This is setup per provider and is only visible to those that have the account setup.
For the provider to enter the Healthmonix website and dashboard they will click on Tools and then the MIPS Healthmonix link.
This will open the Healthmonix webpage as a pop up so they don’t have to leave chartlogic.
This is not a customer facing update and they will not need to do anything for MIPS reporting exports. This is for internal use and allows us to now create the necessary exports for customers who participate in MIPS reporting.
