We have made improvements to the patient portal to provide patient centric information and assistance with navigation.
The information on the patient portal needed to be more meaningful for the patient. The patient portal needed navigation indicators to help the patient know what items need attention. There was also unnecessary functionality removed for patients to edit cards and some appointment card enhancements.
The following changes have been made to all cards within the patient portal
The appointment card information has been updated to be more patient focused and added to the dashboard.
Updated appointment information
The appointment card has been added to the Dashboard within the patient portal. Patients can now see appointments for the next 30 days and access the appointments menu as the other cards on the dashboard.
When patients log into their portal, they will now see badge indicators for the following areas that have not been read yet.
The badge indicators will disable when the patient has accessed the specific entry. Ex: Patient has a new -> accesses the appointment from the dashboard or the appointment on the navigation menu-> indicator disappears once read.
