What:
ChartLogic now includes the auto calculation of the BMI when entering the weight and height. This also includes the loinc code in the CCDA. The BMI field is grayed out and will recalculate when the fields are updated until the note is signed.
Why:
Customers had requested an automatic BMI calculation and capture. Previously staff had to manually calculate the BMI and enter it into a field.
How:
Enter a value in both the height and weight fields in the vital card. The BMI field will be added based on the calculation of height divided by weight.
