The ChartLogic EHR Scheduling interface has been created completely with the user in mind, making it easy to schedule, edit, move, or even cancel appointments.

To schedule a new appointment, you’ll need to click the New Appointment icon in the upper right of the Calendar screen.

Clicking this will take you to a New Appointment sub-tab where you can fill out all of the necessary information. To select a patient, you’ll need to type your search criteria in the patient search box and select your desired patient.

From there, resources and types can be selected with their respective drop-down boxes that will show the options you set up in your configuration. Selecting a type will automatically fill the Reason text box, but you can change it to whatever you prefer by clicking in the box and typing what you want.

To select a location, you’ll need to click into the Location drop-down box and select your desired location. To select a date, the ChartLogic EHR team has made it as easy as possible with a structured date picker available, but you can also type in whatever date you need. Picking the time is also extremely easy with our Start and End drop-down boxes. To pick the time you need, simply click the box and then click the start time you need. After you’ve filled all of your required data there are a few more choices you’ll need to make before your appointment is scheduled. The All–Day Appointment, Waitlist, and Billable check boxes will automatically affect how this appointment interacts with the rest of the software but clicking the Recurring check box will show you more fields you’ll need to fill out before you can finish the appointment.

The Start Date field works the exact same way as the Date field above. There are three ways you can setup the End Date: End By, End After, or No End Date. Selecting End By will require you to select an End Date. Selecting End After will require you to choose a number of appointments before the recurrence ends. Selecting No End Date will require nothing. After that, it is required for you to fill out a recurrence schedule. Once you’ve filled out the Recurrence schedule and are ready to schedule your appointment, click the Add button in the lower right corner of your screen.
