Update Summary

Thursday, November 10, 2022, we will be pushing out a new ChartLogic EHR update. The updates will start at 10PM MT and are expected to be completed by 2AM MT on Friday, November 11. During the scheduled update window, you may experience anything from slow response, limited access, or no connectivity; or you may experience no interruption whatsoever.

This version update includes new CCDA features in accordance with ONC certifications, as well as many bug fixes and performance improvements.

Enhancements 🚀

• ECR Reporting – In accordance with the ONC certification body we have added a new feature of electronic case reporting to state health registries. This allows a practice to report conditions as required in the form of CCDA documents. Learn More →
• Clinical Note Types – New clinical note types are now available in ChartLogic when creating a CCDA to meet ONC certification requirements. The ONC has implemented a set of clinical note types that allow the clinical staff to generate a CCDA with comments connected to the specific note type. This will give the consuming body the ability to have text information about each type for transition of care for a patient. Learn More →
• Previous Name and Address – ChartLogic added the ability to add and track previous names and addresses. Previously this was only tracked in the audit logs adding these entries to the CCDA as per certification requirements. This is a new card located in the patient detail section. Learn More →
• CCDA Export Subset of Patients – You now have a more simple way to choose a selection of patients when exporting CCDA’s. Learn More →
• Additional CCDA Export Data – We have added the head circumference percentile, BMI percentile, and weight for length percentiles to the CCDA export files along with their corresponding LOINC codes. Learn More →

Bug Fixes 🔧

• Fixed issue previously affecting attaching documents to a patient message.
• Rx counters are no longer showing incorrect counts.

If you experience any issues updating ChartLogic, please follow these steps for a quick resolution:

1. Close ChartLogic
2. Go to:
   C:Program Files(x86)ChartLogicChartLogic9EHR
3. Locate the application named “ChartLogicUpdate”
4. Run the application
5. Select Update
6. Update will run and close down by itself
7. Re-launch ChartLogic
