Diagnosis Director

Common patient encounters can be automated by using preconfigured ICD10 information. CPTs, SmartText, and Patient Education can be quickly entered into an exam without entering multiple screens. Diagnosis Director associations can be created from an existing Diagnosis Director ICD9 or ICD10 profile or on the fly.

To use an existing Diagnosis Director profile:
  1. From the exam screen, go to Billing > Diagnosis Director, click on Diagnosis Director from the left sidebar, or voice the command “Diagnosis Director.”
  2. Select codes by checking the box next to the desired ICD9 or ICD10 codes.
  3. Expand the options for that code and choose the desired CPTs, prescription, SmartText, and/or Patient Education information to add to the ICD9 or ICD10 by clicking the checkbox next to the entry.

  1. Click Save & Populate to insert all the selected information into the exam in the appropriate fields.

Note: The SmartText will be inserted next to the SmartMark assigned to the SmartText in the Diagnosis Director Screen.
