Order workflow
The order workflow has been updated so that when a user creates a new order a status of created will assigned to the order. The Order Entry Screen will be displayed allowing for changes until a requisition has been Saved & Finished.
Once a requisition has been Saved & Finished the order will be changed to a status of ordered and the order details screen will then be displayed from this point forward.
Left Panel on Main Screen
To help quickly find and manage orders two additional bucket have been added to the Main Screen’s left panel under the Orders grouping.
- The Created bucket will display all created orders that have been created and assigned to the logged in user
- The Ordered bucket will display all orders that have a status of ordered and are assigned to the logged in user.
Manual Entry Lab Results
The capability to manually enter lab results into an order has been added. A user can now enter results by opening up an order which does not have a status of created and has panels and tests associated to the order. A user can enter the lab results manually from the Order Report or the Order Details screen.
Some order logic has been added to automatically update the status of an order once a requisition is saved & finished.
Order Entry Screen
An assign to field has been added to the Order Entry screen to quick assign the order to a user at the time of creation.
The Fasting Check box has also been cleaned up to help identify if the user is or needs to be fasting prior to the test or specimen being captured.
Order Detail Screen
A visual indicator has been add for an associated encounter. The Associate Exam button will display View Encounter when the order has an associated encounter.
Bug Fixes
URL’s sent in labs results will now display correctly when opening up the Order Detail Screen.
When an encounter has been Saved & Finished, and then utilizing voice in an addendum has been updated to work more efficiently.
