Tables: Service Macros

Service Macros group together Services that are always performed together for certain types of encounters (e.g. child well visits, cholesterol screenings, annual physicals, etc.). They save time by allowing the biller to enter a single code to enter multiple services to an encounter.

Click New to add a Service Macro.

1. ID: Create an ID that is short and easy to recognize. The ID of a MACRO cannot be the same as any of the entries in the Service table.
2. Description: Enter a brief description.
3. Services: To add a service, click Add (you must save the Macro ID before adding services.)
   1. Click the Search icon to locate the desired item in the Services table or type the ID if known.
   2. Repeat for each Service ID until all relevant Services are added.
4. Save.
