EHR Update Summary

Thursday, September 16, 2021, we will be pushing out a new ChartLogic EHR update. The updates will start at 10PM MT and are expected to be completed by 2AM MT on Friday, September 17. During the scheduled update window, you may experience anything from slow response, limited access, or no connectivity; or you may experience no interruption whatsoever.

This version update includes the added support for the latest Dragon Medical cloud version along with many performance improvements and bug fixes.

Enhancements 🚀

Bug Fixes 🔧

• Fixed an issue where ChartLogic could freeze when deleting a document from a set in the patient chart.
• Fixed an issue where some lab results were received without patient ID’s resulting in them not being able to be moved to correct patients.
• Fixed an issue with legacy allergies and prescription data that could not be removed from a patient. This data can now be removed. Added a message when deleting that if a prescription was still in the eRx module and is deleted from ChartLogic it would return upon syncing.
• There was an issue with being able to dictate when writing referral letters. We’ve updated the referral letter to now allow for voice dictation when writing referral letters.
• Fixed an issue where some encounters had lost their embedded images after saving and exiting from the note. Image storage functionality was updated resolving this issue.
• Fixed an issue where spell check could intermittently freeze, causing user to have to end ChartLogic in task manager.
• Updated ChartLogic 9 system to use latest SNOMED code system as ChartLogic 10.

If you experience any issues updating ChartLogic, please follow these steps for a quick resolution:

1. Close ChartLogic
2. Go to:
   C:Program Files(x86)ChartLogicChartLogic9EHR
3. Locate the application named “ChartLogicUpdate”
4. Run the application
5. Select Update
6. Update will run and close down by itself
7. Re-launch ChartLogic
