The Users table is where you maintain all user ids, passwords, and permissions purchased by and for your practice use of MBSWin. Inactive users appear in gray and cannot access the system. New users must be created by MBS/Net, Inc., but can be updated by Administrative Users.

Billing Tab
  1. User ID: This will be the user’s login ID. This will be displayed on the bottom center of the application window and is used to track financial transactions, appointments, notes and certain functions.
  2. Last Name, First Name: Enter the user’s name.
  3. Password: Assign a password and communicate it to the user. The password cannot be changed by the User unless they are designated as an Administrative User.
  4. Administrator: Check box to give the user administrator full Practice Table access, including the ability to reset userpasswords.
  5. Practice Tables: Check box to allow user to Access the Billing portion of the application. If this is not checked, the user will have access to MBSWin Scheduling only.
  6. Scheduling: Check box to give user access to MBSWin Scheduling.
  7. Inactive: Check to deactivate user when they no longer require access to MBSWin.

Scheduling Tab
  1. Schedule Days: Check the days to be displayed for the week view of Scheduling specific to the User.
  2. Schedule Hours: Enter the general Start and End times to view the schedule.
  3. Interval: Enter the normal time interval (e.g. 10 min, 15 min, etc.) for the appointment Schedule, specific to the User.
  4. Default Resource: The default is set for Resource Set or Resource, as the primary resource to be displayed when MBSWin Scheduling is initially accessed.
  5. Encounter Form: Select the type of Encounter Form from the drop-down if you’d like this form to be the default any time the user prints an encounter form. If a custom form was created for your office, this entry may be blank, especially if utilizing EDI encounters.
