Version 3.4

Thursday, XX, 2021, we will be pushing out a ChartLogic WinPM Release for the 3.4 version. The updates will start at 8PM MT on Thursday.

During the scheduled update window, a short service interruption is expected. Clients can then expect an application update and restart.

New Features 🚀

• A new field, Transaction Sub Codes is now available to help further qualify the Transaction Codes used on payments and adjustments.
• Small Balance Write-Off function has been added to find and write-off small balances.
• Billing Account Type Update can now be used to move items to “C” collection status and write-off the balance. A standard report and export format of the collection account details is also available.

Enhancements 🌠

• Manually posting payments that result in a $0 balance will now prompt the user to change the Encounter Service status to “P” so the item will no longer be tracked on Insurance Aging and Status reports.
• The Batch Eligibility report in scheduling has additional display and filter options.
• Services with no HCPCS codes will now automatically be set to non-billable when entered on an Encounter.
• Eligibility results have been changed to sort by the date/time of the inquiry not the DOS.
• The logic used to match patients in an ERA has been improved to handle truncation and some other alterations made by payers and clearinghouses.

Bug Fixes 🔧

• Reception View will now properly filter by Resource Sets
• Fixed an error causing an exception when viewing grouped results in a Patient Roster Report.
• Plan Profile Events are displayed properly
• Expanded the size of Eligibility Results to handle very large messages returned in some instances.
• Corrected Claim function will now use Fee instead of Balance for adjusting entries.
• Improved performance for EDI Encounters display when the Primary Insurance Coverage option is enabled.
• Corrected error in EDI Encounters grid when supervising and referring providers are included.
