Configuring Patient Education

ChartLogic allows users to associate certain education materials with problems, labs, and medications. When those problems, labs, and medications are inserted into exams, patient education materials will automatically be included at the bottom of the exam.

To associate patient education materials with Problems:

1. Go to Configure > Education.
2. Click on the Problem tab.
3. Click on the Problem you want to link patient education to.
4. Click on Select Materials next to the search box.
5. Select the patient education item(s) (make sure a checkmark appears in the box). Use the search box to search items if needed.

6. Click OK.

Note: To add patient education materials to labs or medication, select the Lab or Medication button and follow steps 3–6.
