Any time your machine is idle for more than a few minutes, ChartLogic will automatically lock and you won’t be able to access any of the applications until you’ve logged back in. This ensures that patient information is protected when you aren’t around to monitor it. You can also lock the screen yourself by pressing F12. We recommend that you get in the habit of locking the screen whenever you’re not using ChartLogic. Any time ChartLogic is locked, you’ll see the HIPAA security warning on your screen: When you’re ready to log back in, simply click anywhere on the screen and reenter your login credentials.
