ICD-10 Code Preference List

To create a new preference list click the Create New Preference List button. This brings up the Create New ICD 10 Code Preference List window.

If generating an order through an encounter where the Diagnosis code has already been added ChartLogic will send the ICD-10 Code to the Order module.  Thus allowing the user to add the code to the preference list if they wish.

Please Note: The ICD-10 Preference List can be updated on the fly as you select Diagnosis codes within and encounter prior to launching the order system.   A practice can also build their preference list if they wish as well.

Create a Facility ICD-10 Code Preference List

To create a Facility ICD 10 Code Preference List complete the Step 3 section

• In the Step 3 Section the admin user will need to search for the applicable ICD 10 codes they wish to have in the preference list.
• Clicking on the Search icon will open the ICD 10 Code Search window where the admin can search available ICD 10 codes. It is recommend to search by description as this will help bring more results under the Step 2 section of the ICD 10 Code Search window.

• Once the results have been displayed the admin user can select one to many ICD 10 Codes and then click the Use Selected button to add the test to the preference list.

• A user can keep searching for and adding other ICD-10 codes in the ICD-10 Code Search window until all ICD codes have been selected for their desired preference list.

Create a Client ID or Caregiver ICD-10 Preference List

Complete Step 1, 2 and 3 to create a Client ID and Caregiver ICD-10 list.

• Step 1 select the applicable lab (If you are creating a Client ID list only select the client ID and move to Step 3).
• Step 2 section is to setup a ICD-10 code list for a Caregiver.
• Step 3 is where the admin user will be able to search for the applicable ICD 10 codes they wish to include in the preference list.
  • Clicking on the Search icon will open the ICD 10 Code Search window where the admin can search available ICD 10 codes.  It is recommend to search by description as this will help bring more results under the Step 2 section of the ICD 10 Code Search window.

• Once the results have been displayed the admin user can select one or many tests and then click the Use Selected button to add the test to the preference list.

• A user can keep searching for and adding other ICD codes in the ICD 10 Code Search window until all codes have been selected for their desired preference list.

Edit/Delete a ICD-10 Code Preference List

To edit a ICD-10 Code Preference list click on the applicable Facility, Client ID or Cargiver link under each section.  Clicking on the link brings up the Diagnostic Preference List View window.

• From this window an Admin user can add or remove diagnostic codes associated to the ICD-10 Code Preference list.
• To delete a ICD-10 Code Preference list select the item you want to delete and click the Delete button for the section the list belongs to.
  • WARNING! Once you delete a Test Code Preference list it is permanently deleted from the system.
