Telehealth is the practice of caring for patients remotely, most often through a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing tool that allows for unprecedented remote connections between physicians and their patients. It allows for your practice to visit with patients in a way that helps to slow the spread of illnesses by use of sick patient’s isolation. We will outline the workflow a practice will use ChartLogic’s Telehealth tool as well as from the patient side.
Login to the ChartLogic Patient Portal utilizing any device with a web camera.
Select Patient on the Left side
Search Patient in which you wish to have a Telehealth visit.
The patient must have an active portal account prior to a telehealth visit being established.
Once a patient is selected, Click the Telehealth icon.
Click Join on the right. Practice user video will be shared at this point.
The patient will need to log into the ChartLogic Patient Portal utilizing any device with a web camera.
The patient will select Telehealth from Left Menu.
The patient will not be able to join the Telehealth visit until the provider has joined. Users must click Refresh until given a “Join” option which will appear when the provider has joined the session.
