Voice Options

The Voice options provides voice users with tools and utilities that assist with managing, improving, and troubleshooting voice-recognition features.

To access Audio Setup:

1. Go to Tools > Voice > Audio Setup.
2. Here it may have you select a microphone, if your system recognizes multiple microphones. You will want to select the one you are using.
3. When ready, click Start Volume Check, and read the wording in the box provided. Once your system dings or says finished at the bottom.
4. Click Next.
5. When ready, click Start Quality Check, and read the wording in the box provided. Once your system dings or says finished at the bottom. Click Finish.

To Access the Vocabulary Editor:

1. Go to Tools > Voice > Vocabulary Editor.

To add a word to the custom vocabulary:

1. Go to Tools > Vocabulary Editor.
2. Type the word in the text box below Written Form.
3. Click Add to add the word to the custom vocabulary.
4. Click Train to train the spoken form of the word.
5. Click Go to begin training.

Note: Speak the word when the bar turns green.

6. Click Done when finished. Close the Vocabulary Editor and try the new word in a sentence.
